Michael Forcier is a member of the Upper Canada Law Society and was called to the Bar in 1986. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto in Economics and he obtained his law degree from Windsor Law School. He relocated to Owen Sound in 1991 and has practiced law in the Grey/Bruce Counties since then. His practice areas are:

In the past Michael has presented papers at Canadian Bar Association meetings as well as Ontario Bar Association seminars. He has taught the Estate Law Clerks course at Georgian College.
Michael has served on the Legal Aid Committee of Owen Sound for the last 10 years and now sits on the District Legal Aid Committee. He is a member of the Owen Sound Chamber of Commerce and was a Board member for 8 years. He is also an active member of the Business Network International (BNI) Owen Sound chapter and is a member Georgian Yacht Club and at present is a director. Michael is an avid sailor and also enjoys skiing in the winter. Michael has been a big brother and has been on the Board of Big Brothers for the past 17 years. He has three children.
